Pretty much the only place close to Erie for the best ski service and great knowledge of all things Cross Country related. You can see not only does the owner actually participate in the sport, but breaths it as well, when spring hits, and if possible, he's still skiing!! Very patient and willing to bend over backwards to get you what ever you need whether it's xc skis, downhill, bikes and hell even any type of hardware in the other part of the store.

It is a great place to buy a high quality mountain bike or to have your bike repaired by the owner, Mike, who really knows what he is talking about. We have also rented downhill skis to use at the local Clymer ski resort and paid alot less for better quality skis. If you are looking for a fancy modern building, this store may not be for you. If you want quality from a knowledgable owner who races on bikes and skis himself with the confidence you wont be overcharged, then by all means, this is the place. I only gave 4 stars because of the building and parking lot but I will still return many times again.

Best place to rent Skis. Avoid the lines and crap gear/service/cost from the resorts and swing buy this local establishment for friendly top notch service and equipment for a great price. FLHS is not only good for rentals, I always seem to find something unique that I NEED to buy.
