Waited in long line for 30 minutes just to check in. Meanwhile, clerk waited on phone callers and random woman walking in the door who cut the line to ask if rooms available. Clerk left all of us waiting and spent TEN MINUTES verifying that she had no rooms left. When she finally got to us, 12 customers later, our prepaid reservation was messed up, and we were informed that hotel was overbooked but that if we mentioned the clerk, a hotel down the road would give us a good rate. Was exhausted from driving all day; ended up driving all night as well to get home. Holiday inn: NEVER AGAIN!!!
I stayed here in November of 2017 and my room was clean, neat, and smelled great. The lobby was nice, and the late arrival after midnight was taken care of seamlessly by the staff. The breakfast room was large and had a great television as well as great cinnamon buns as usual. The shower had great water pressure, and the pillows were soft and the bed was great. The room was as expected for Holiday Inn Express! Loved it.
Great staff.. breakfast was good for a hotel breakfast. Beds were a bit stiff, and the hot water didn’t last long both times I used it. Just a word of caution, there’s *nothing* around if you need to do a bit of shopping.
We enjoyed our stay here. The entrance to the hotel is beautifully decorated. Our room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. I thought the AC unit was exceptionally quiet. The breakfast is outstanding: eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, biscuits, gravy, muffins, bagels and delicious cinnamon buns. There is a nice little restaurant in the parking lot that is open late and offers free delivery to the hotel.
Cheery personnel, clean rooms, comfy bed that gave us a wonderful night's sleep followed by a delicious breakfast buffet that featured warm cinnamon rolls, eggs, two kinds of breakfast meats, make-it-yourself pancakes, cereal, yogurt and so much more! Only one critique, more seating is needed. Possibly offer one of the first floor meeting rooms as overflow seating.
